Spanning an extended 20-inch profile, the high-capacity Puretec PX012 polyspun cartridge operates as a fine sediment block in larger pipelines. This model is suitable for standard filter housings, working as a high-volume pre-filter on residential mains. It connects to cold-water lines, offering physical capture of fine suspended matter.

This 20-inch cartridge is constructed from pure virgin polypropylene, featuring spun and melted synthetic fibers. The polyspun design utilizes a coreless configuration with no center core to restrict fluid performance. The cartridge weighs approximately 0.56 kg and is specified for temperatures from 4.4°C to 60°C.

This 20-inch model measures 2.5 inches in diameter by 20 inches in length, providing a nominal rating of 1 micron. It achieves a maximum flow rate of 54 L/Min through standard pipelines, capturing fine suspended particles with minimal pressure drop.

Depth filtration is performed by the graded density structure, which allows larger particulates to be captured on the outer layers and finer ones near the core.
