The large-format Puretec PX01MP2 polyspun cartridge provides high-volume physical filtration of fine particles in commercial buildings or large estates. This model is specified for MaxiPlus filter housings, serving as a high-capacity sediment block. It installs on high-flow water mains, acting as a physical particulate barrier.

Manufactured from virgin polypropylene synthetic fibers, the filter media incorporates a spun and melted construction. This polyspun model features a coreless layout with no center core to limit hydraulic performance. Weighing approximately 1.3 kg, the unit operates in liquid temperatures from 4.4°C to 60°C.

The physical dimensions of this model measure 4.5 inches in diameter by 20 inches in length. It has a nominal rating of 1 micron for sediment filtration. The unit is rated for a maximum flow rate of 152 L/Min, providing liquid filtration with low resistance.

Through graded density depth filtration, each model provides high sediment containment without causing flow restriction. Coarser sand and rust particles are captured near the surface, while finer clay is isolated deep within the multi-layered polypropylene web. This coreless design is compatible with cold-water supply systems. This model is designed for standard filtration housings without modification.
