To handle high sediment loads, the Puretec PX201-2 polyspun sediment cartridge twin-pack provides dual physical filtration blocks. This model is specified for whole-house pre-filtration, fitting standard filter housings on domestic cold-water ports. It installs into double filter arrays, offering physical entrapment of suspended solids.

Each cartridge in this twin-pack is manufactured from virgin polypropylene media, featuring spun synthetic fibers. This polyspun model incorporates a coreless configuration with no center core to restrict incoming water velocity. The pack weighs approximately 0.55 kg and is rated for water temperatures from 4.4°C to 60°C.

These twin-pack cartridges measure 2.5 inches in diameter by 10 inches in length, with a nominal rating of 20 microns. The system achieves a maximum flow rate of 34 L/Min, providing physical sediment extraction with low resistance through standard ports.

The graded density layout performs depth filtration by isolating particulates of varying sizes throughout the multi-layered polypropylene media.
