Puretec PX202 Polyspun Sediment 20 Micron 2.5" x 20" Water Filter Cartridge

Designed for high-flow commercial and household lines, the Puretec PX202 polyspun cartridge captures medium sediment grains and rust flakes. This extended 20-inch model is suitable for standard filter housings, providing physical pre-filtration for large water systems. It installs inline on main supply connections to intercept suspended debris.

Constructed from raw virgin polypropylene, the filter media utilizes synthetic fibers spun into a self-braced structure. The polyspun media incorporates a coreless configuration with no center core to restrict hydraulic flow. The cartridge weighs approximately 0.55 kg and is specified for temperatures from 4.4°C to 60°C.

The physical dimensions of this model are 2.5 inches in diameter by 20 inches in length. It has a nominal rating of 20 microns for physical particle capture. The cartridge achieves a maximum flow rate of 67 L/Min, providing high-flow inline filtration.

Through graded density depth filtration, the model provides high sediment containment without causing flow restriction. Coarser sand and rust particles are captured near the surface, while finer clay is isolated deep within the multi-layered polypropylene web. This coreless design is compatible with cold-water supply systems. This model is designed for standard filtration housings without modification.
