This compact MaxiPlus cartridge measures 4.5 inches in diameter by 10 inches in length. It features a nominal rating of 20 microns for physical particulate separation. The unit achieves a maximum flow rate of 84 L/Min with low flow resistance, providing filtration on cold-water setups.

Regarding materials of construction, this cartridge is manufactured from raw virgin polypropylene with melted synthetic fibers. The polyspun media utilizes a coreless construction with no center core to restrict fluid velocity. The cartridge weighs approximately 0.62 kg and is specified for fluid temperatures from 4.4°C to 60°C.

This wide-format cartridge integrates easily into compatible MaxiPlus housings, serving as a primary sediment block. The multi-layered design provides an extensive depth filtration zone, accumulating sand, silt, rust, and clay from raw water feeds.

Depth filtration is performed by the graded density structure of each cartridge, capturing larger particulates on the exterior and finer ones near the center. This coreless multi-layered layout provides a high dirt-holding capacity. The pure polypropylene construction is compatible with standard cold-water supply networks. This model is designed for standard filtration housings without modification. The coreless depth configuration makes this filter suitable for bore water pre-filtration.
