Filtering coarse suspended impurities, the Puretec PX502 polyspun cartridge features a high-capacity 20-inch layout to strain raw water feeds. This long model fits standard filter housings, working as a primary sediment filter on high-flow agricultural or commercial ports. It connects directly to main cold-water plumbing connections.

This long cartridge is manufactured from high-purity virgin polypropylene synthetic fibers spun into a dense web. The polyspun model utilizes a coreless construction with no central core to impede water velocity. The cartridge weighs approximately 0.56 kg and is rated for operating temperatures from 4.4°C to 60°C.

This 20-inch model has physical dimensions of 2.5 inches in diameter by 20 inches in length, with a nominal rating of 50 microns. It achieves a maximum flow capacity of 72 L/Min, providing coarse pre-filtration with low fluid resistance.

The graded density layout performs depth filtration by isolating particulates of varying sizes throughout the multi-layered polypropylene media. Coarser debris is trapped on the outer fibers, while finer silt is captured near the core. This coreless construction provides high sediment holding and low clean pressure drop. This model is designed for standard filtration housings without modification.
