Puretec Radfire R2700 39W Ultraviolet Water Treatment System

The R2700 Radfire system is specified for larger homes or facilities requiring a higher flow rate for harvested rainwater or borehole supplies. It provides a chemical-free disinfection process that preserves the natural taste and odor of the water while neutralizing harmful microorganisms. The unit allows for flexible installation in either vertical or horizontal orientations to suit various plumbing layouts.

Performance specifications include a maximum flow rate of 45 Lpm at a 30mJ/cm2 dosage, or up to 81 Lpm at a 16mJ/cm2 dosage level. The system utilizes a 39W high-output lamp and operates on a standard 240v 50/60Hz power supply with a maximum consumption of 45W. The rated operating current for this model is 0.17 Amps. Inlet and outlet connections measure 3/4" to facilitate integration with high-volume residential plumbing systems. The reactor is specified for a maximum operating pressure of 800 kPa.

Constructed from 304 Stainless Steel, the reactor chamber houses the RL4 lamp and RQS4 quartz sleeve for high-intensity ultraviolet transmission. The system handles water with iron content up to 0.3 mg/L and manganese levels below 0.05 mg/L. It is designed for operation in ambient temperatures from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius and requires pre-filtration to 5 microns to prevent shielding of pathogens. The system features a unique water chamber design.

Monitoring features include an integrated LED operation indicator and an audible alarm system that provides notification in the event of lamp failure. The ultraviolet lamp has a rated service life of 8,760 hours. Maintenance is simplified through a tool-free design that allows for quick lamp and sleeve access without the use of specialized equipment. A water-resistant power supply houses the electronic ballast to protect the electrical components from environmental humidity and moisture ingress.
