Puretec Radfire RI-10K Commercial Ultraviolet Water Treatment System

The RI-10K Radfire is designed for high-volume microbiological control in facilities such as food processing plants, healthcare centers, and commercial buildings. It features an axial flow reactor with water passing parallel to the lamp. The unit provides a chemical-free method for neutralizing a broad spectrum of waterborne pathogens while maintaining the liquid's natural properties.

Hydraulic performance is rated at a maximum flow of 95 Lpm at a 30mJ/cm2 dosage level, or up to 178 Lpm at a 16mJ/cm2 dosage. The system utilizes the RI-CON2 controller, a constant current electronic power source that operates on a 90-265V 50/60Hz universal supply. Inlet and outlet connections are 1" MNPT to facilitate integration with high-flow commercial plumbing systems. The reactor is specified for a maximum operating pressure of 1030 kPa and requires a minimum clearance of 1100 mm for lamp removal during maintenance procedures.

This model operates in standard liquid temperatures of 2 to 40 degrees Celsius, but can be configured for 70 degrees Celsius operation with an optional hot water lamp. The unit handles water with hardness up to 110 mg/L and requires iron levels to be below 0.3 mg/L. The RI-10K weighs 7.2 kg and features an integral sensor port to allow for future monitoring upgrades using the RI-SEN2 sensor module.

Status monitoring is provided through a colour diagnostic user interface that displays lamp life and system warnings. The high-output ultraviolet lamp is rated for a 10,000 hour service life. The controller includes an expandability port for the addition of solenoid valves or volt-free connections. Maintenance is simplified through a quartz thimble assembly and a secure lamp connector for quick component replacement. This model requires pre-filtration to 5 microns and handles suspended solids up to 10 mg/L.
