Puretec RB05MP1 Ribbed Sediment MaxiPlus 5 Micron 4.5" x 10" Water Filter Cartridge

The wide-body Puretec RB05MP1 ribbed cartridge provides high-flow physical filtration of fine particulates in heavy-demand systems. This model is specified for MaxiPlus filter housings, working as a whole-house sediment pre-treatment block. It installs on main water entry manifolds, serving as a physical particulate interceptor.

This wide-body model is constructed from pure polypropylene, featuring a ribbed outer design with physical grooves. This layout provides a large active filtration surface to accumulate solid debris. The cartridge weighs approximately 0.65 kg and operates in water temperatures ranging from 0°C to 60°C.

The wide-body model measures 4.5 inches in diameter by 10 inches in length, featuring a nominal rating of 5 microns. It achieves a maximum flow rate of 76 L/Min, operating under working pressures of 100 to 900 kPa through MaxiPlus housings.

Straining is performed by the grooved ribbed design, utilizing a graded density polypropylene structure to trap suspended solids. Coarser sand and rust are isolated within the outer grooves, while finer sediment is captured deep inside the multi-surface media. This ribbed configuration provides a high dirt-holding capacity. This model is designed for standard filtration housings without modification.
