Puretec RB05MP2 Ribbed Sediment MaxiPlus 5 Micron 4.5" x 20" Water Filter Cartridge

The large-format Puretec RB05MP2 ribbed cartridge provides high-volume physical filtration of fine particles in commercial buildings or large estates. This model is specified for MaxiPlus filter housings, serving as a high-capacity sediment block. It installs on high-flow water mains, acting as a physical particulate barrier.

Constructed from high-purity polypropylene fibers, this extended MaxiPlus cartridge features a ribbed grooved outer shell. The grooved layout provides a large physical surface area to capture raw water sediment. The unit weighs approximately 1.3 kg and is rated for liquid temperatures from 0°C to 60°C.

The physical dimensions of this model measure 4.5 inches in diameter by 20 inches in length. It has a nominal rating of 5 microns for sediment filtration. The unit is rated for a maximum flow rate of 156 L/Min under operating pressures of 100 to 900 kPa.

The graded density design performs physical filtration by capturing suspended matter within the outer ribbed grooves, extending the service run. Coarse debris is trapped in the ribbed channels, while fine silt is captured near the center of the polypropylene media. This configuration provides a high dirt containment capacity. This model is designed for standard filtration housings without modification.
