Puretec RB251 Ribbed Sediment 25 Micron 2.5" x 10" Water Filter Cartridge

Designed with a grooved outer configuration, the standard Puretec RB251 ribbed cartridge isolates medium-sized physical particulates. This model is suitable for standard filter housings, operating as a physical pre-treatment filter in rainwater or municipal lines. It installs inline on cold-water connections to trap solid debris.

Constructed from raw polypropylene material, this ribbed cartridge utilizes synthetic fibers folded to form a graded density block. The physical build features deep outer grooves that increase the available dirt-holding surface. The unit weighs approximately 0.28 kg and is rated for temperatures from 0°C to 60°C.

This model features standard dimensions of 2.5 inches in diameter by 10 inches in length. It has a nominal rating of 25 microns for physical particulate separation. The cartridge achieves a maximum flow capacity of 35 L/Min under pressures from 100 to 900 kPa.

The graded density design performs physical filtration by capturing suspended matter within the outer ribbed grooves, extending the service run. Coarse debris is trapped in the ribbed channels, while fine silt is captured near the center of the polypropylene media. This configuration provides a high dirt containment capacity. This model is designed for standard filtration housings without modification.
