Designed as a paired replacement twin-pack, the Puretec RB501-2 ribbed cartridge set performs coarse physical filtration in high-debris lines. This twin-pack fits standard filter housings, working as a paired sediment interceptor to keep secondary filters clean. It installs into double-stage inline cold-water connections.

Regarding material composition, these cartridges are manufactured from pure polypropylene with a ribbed outer layout. The media uses a graded density design with physical grooves to increase dirt-holding surface. The twin pack weighs approximately 0.56 kg and operates in water temperatures from 0°C to 60°C.

Measuring exactly 2.5 inches in diameter by 10 inches in length, these twin-pack cartridges feature a nominal rating of 50 microns. The set achieves a maximum flow rate of 38 L/Min, operating under pressures from 100 to 900 kPa through standard lines.

The graded density design performs physical filtration by capturing suspended matter within the outer ribbed grooves, extending the service run. Coarse debris is trapped in the ribbed channels, while fine silt is captured near the center of the polypropylene media. This configuration provides a high dirt containment capacity. This model is designed for standard filtration housings without modification.
