Puretec WD051 Wound Sediment 5 Micron 2.5" x 10" Replacement Cartridge

The WD051 wound sediment cartridge facilitates economical sediment filtration for systems using 10 inch housings. It is suitable for treating mains water and bore water where the removal of visible particulate is required. This model functions as an initial clarification stage with a 5 micron rating.

Achieving a nominal flow capacity of 27 L/Min, the unit operates within a 100 to 900 kPa pressure rating. The 5 micron rating is configured to target suspended solids such as sand, silt, and rust. Depth filtration is achieved through precisely wound construction, providing a vast network of paths for particulate retention.

Constructed with standard 2.5 inch diameter and 10 inch length dimensions, the cartridge is specified for operation in liquid environments up to 50 degrees Celsius. The precisely wound design results in high dirt-holding capacity by providing more surface area for sediment contact.
