General purpose sediment reduction for large-diameter systems is provided by the WD10MP1 wound sediment cartridge, which integrates into 10 inch MaxiPlus housings. It is suitable for bore water, mains supplies, and multiple industrial fluids where high throughput and moderate clarification are required. This 10 micron component acts as an initial sediment barrier.

Rated for a nominal flow capacity of 79 L/Min, the unit maintains performance within a 100 to 900 kPa pressure range. Precisely wound construction facilitates depth filtration, providing an expanded area for the capture of moderate physical contaminants. This design facilitates the reduction of rust, sand, scale, and silt particles throughout the 4.5 inch thickness.

Measuring standard 4.5 inches in diameter and 10 inches in length, the cartridge is specified for liquid temperatures reaching 50 degrees Celsius. The results include high dirt-holding capacity by utilizing the expanded internal volume of the MaxiPlus format.
