The WD20MP2 wound sediment cartridge provides economical coarse filtration for high-volume systems utilizing 20 inch MaxiPlus housings. It is suitable for treating bore water and mains supplies where heavy coarse particulate is present at high flow velocities. This 20 micron component functions as a primary clarification stage.

Achieving a significant nominal flow capacity of 160 L/min, the unit maintains performance within a 100 to 900 kPa pressure rating. Precisely wound construction enables depth filtration, creating a vast graded matrix for coarse particle capture across the 4.5 inch diameter. This architecture facilitates the reduction of rust, sand, scale, and silt particles throughout the media depth.

Measuring standard 4.5 inches in diameter and 20 inches in length, the unit is specified for operation in liquid environments up to 50 degrees Celsius. The wound pattern results in high dirt-holding capacity by distributing the sediment load across the large internal contact volume.
