Puretec WD501 Wound Sediment 50 Micron 2.5" x 10" Replacement Cartridge

Coarse particulate reduction for high-flow applications is facilitated by the WD501 wound sediment cartridge, designed for use in 10 inch housings. It is suitable for mains water, bore water, and multiple industrial fluids containing large suspended debris. The 50 micron rating targets the removal of sand, rust, and scale from the fluid stream.

Nominal flow capacity is rated at 42 L/Min, with a pressure rating of 100 to 900 kPa to match standard plumbing requirements. Depth filtration is achieved through precisely wound construction, providing an expanded area for the loading of coarse contaminants. This design facilitates the reduction of sand, silt, rust, and scale particles throughout the fiber matrix.

Measuring 2.5 inches in diameter and 10 inches in length, the unit is specified for liquid temperatures up to 50 degrees Celsius. The result is high dirt-holding capacity by allowing particles to penetrate deep into the media.
