Coarse particulate reduction for high-flow 10 inch systems is provided by the WD50MP1 wound sediment cartridge, which integrates into MaxiPlus housings. It is suitable for mains water, bore water, and diverse industrial fluids requiring the management of large physical impurities. This 50 micron component operates as an initial clarification barrier.

Rated for a high nominal flow capacity of 90 L/Min, the cartridge maintains performance across a 100 to 900 kPa pressure rating. Precisely wound construction enables depth filtration, providing an expanded matrix for the retention of coarse physical contaminants. This design facilitates the reduction of sand, silt, rust, and scale particles throughout the 4.5 inch thickness of the media.

Measuring standard 4.5 inches in diameter and 10 inches in length, the unit is specified for liquid temperatures up to 50 degrees Celsius. The result is high dirt-holding capacity by utilizing the expanded internal volume of the format.
