Puretec WH1-60 MaxiPlus 20" Single Stage Whole House Water Filtration System

Chlorine and sediment loads in medium to large residences are managed by the Puretec WH1-60 single-stage whole house filtration system. This model is specified for installation on the property's main cold water line to provide spring-like quality water at every tap. It is suitable for mains and town water supplies and utilizes a 20-inch high-flow cartridge to reduce chemicals and rust without the need for power or chemical additives.

Construction features a heavy-duty housing supported by an integrated rust-proof, anti-flex aluminium wall mount bracket. The unit measures 181 mm wide and 589 mm high, housing a 20-inch carbon block cartridge (CB10MP2) with a 10-micron nominal rating. It operates in temperatures between 0 and 52°C and must be protected from freezing environments during external property installation to maintain structural integrity.

Internal hydraulic paths support a high nominal flow rate of 60 L/Min through 40 mm (1.5 inch) BSP plumbing ports. The assembly handles operational pressures from 200 to 875 kPa, incorporating lead-free brass for all internal plumbing interfaces. This passive unit functions purely on mains line pressure and does not require an external power supply. A pressure limiting valve must be fitted for installations where supply exceeds 500 kPa.

Maintenance requirements involve cartridge replacement every 6 to 12 months based on usage and building water quality. The system protects and prolongs the service life of appliances and plumbing by filtering out harmful contaminants at the property entry point. It features a low-maintenance configuration with no moving parts and operates silently on existing line pressure. The kit includes the 20-inch filter cartridge and structural hardware.
