Puretec WS2505 Washable Screen 250 Micron 2.5" x 5" Water Filter Cartridge

For high-debris screening, the compact Puretec WS2505 washable screen cartridge isolates large physical particles at high flow rates. This 5-inch model is designed for pre-filtration, agricultural strainers, and pump shielding. It fits standard filter housings, working as an initial physical barrier on cold-water connections.

Constructed with a high-strength polypropylene frame, the filter includes a Polyethersulfone mesh screen. This mesh screen unscrews from the center core cage for physical washing and cleaning. The cartridge weighs approximately 0.18 kg and operates in water temperatures from 0°C to 60°C.

Measuring exactly 2.5 inches in diameter by 5 inches in length, the model has a nominal rating of 250 microns. The cartridge operates at a maximum flow capacity of 50 L/Min, providing high-flow physical straining with minimal pressure drop.

The external mesh screen can be removed by unscrewing the end cap from the center frame cage, allowing physical cleaning and washing. This model is suitable for coarse pre-filtration in aquaculture and pump shielding setups. It operates on high-flow raw water feeds, providing physical straining of coarse debris.
