Internal fluid velocity paths are managed in the WU-UV150-LF through an all in one ultraviolet filtration assembly for clarifies and purifies rainwater. Part of the Puretec Basic WU-UV series it provides a unified path for sediment removal and UV disinfection in residential facilities. It is suitable for wall mounted installation using its integrated bracket system. The system incorporates dual stage physical filtration with Radfire UV technology for comprehensive inline microbiological control.

Constructed from 304 grade stainless steel the Radfire UV chamber is the core of the construction. The unit features 10 inch MaxiPlus housing bowls built to contain the PP05LD1 sediment and ML10LD1-DP pleated carbon cartridges. It weighs 15 kg and operates in liquids up to 52 degrees Celsius. The assembly includes a wall mount structure and provides a path for clarifies water while managing microbiological contaminants and sediment in the building supply distribution loop through standard plumbing.

This unit is rated for a maximum flow of 60 L/Min and operates efficiently between 300 and 875 kPa of operational pressure. It connects to the distribution loop via 1 inch BSP male fittings measuring 25 mm. The RL6 UV lamp functions on a 240 V power supply regulated by an electronic ballast. The dual stage filtration achieves a nominal 1 micron rating ensuring that fine silt and sand are removed from the water stream before it enters the final ultraviolet disinfection chamber for whole house treatment.

Long term operating cost scaling is addressed by the electronic controller which monitors lamp life and provides system status notifications. The unit follows AS 3497 certifications for water treatment and features a quartz sleeve RQS6 to isolate the lamp from water contact. Radfire technology provides natural chemical free disinfection killing 99.9 percent of bacteria and cysts. Maintenance is facilitated by the 120 mm clearance allowed for lamp and cartridge changes at recommended servicing intervals.
