Puretec WU10-25M Dual 10" x 4.5" Basic Whole House Water Filtration System

Chlorine and sediment reduction for budget-conscious residential facilities is handled by the Puretec WU10-25M dual-stage system. This model is specified for installation on the main cold water line to provide clean water throughout the whole home or office. It is suitable for mains and town water supplies and features heavy-duty housings that operate without chemical additives for general purpose property filtration.

Built from heavy-duty plastic, the dual housings measure 390 mm in width and 465 mm in height with a total depth of 200 mm. Internal 10-inch filtration utilizes a melt blown sediment reduction cartridge (MB05LD1) and a carbon block taste and odour cartridge (EC10LD1). The system is rated for operation in liquid temperatures between 0 and 52°C and must be protected from freezing conditions during external property installation.

Fluid velocity paths support a nominal flow rate of 30 L/Min through 25 mm (1 inch) BSP female inlet and outlet ports. The assembly handles operational pressures from 200 to 875 kPa, functioning purely on mains line pressure without an external power source or electrical wiring. This dual-stage unit features a 5-micron nominal rating and must be fitted with a pressure limiting device if the facility supply pressure exceeds 500 kPa.

Servicing involves simple cartridge replacement every 6 to 12 months based on building usage and water quality. The system protects and prolongs the service life of appliances by reducing harmful sediment at the property entry point. It features a low-maintenance design with no moving parts and operates silently on existing line pressure. The kit includes the housings and mounting hardware for immediate building integration.
