It is suitable for mains water supplies and features a compact heavy-duty housing that provides general purpose treatment for every building tap without the use of power.

Built from heavy-duty plastic, the single housing measures 120 mm in width and 345 mm in height with a unit depth of 145 mm. Internal filtration utilizes a 10-inch carbon block cartridge (ML101-DP) with a 5-micron nominal rating for the reduction of chlorine, taste, and odour. The unit operates in liquid temperatures between 0 and 52°C and must be protected from freezing conditions during external property installation.

Internal hydraulic paths support a nominal flow rate of 23 L/Min through 19 mm (3/4 inch) plumbing connections. The assembly handles operational pressures from 200 to 875 kPa, functioning purely on line pressure without the need for electrical connections or an external power source. This single-stage system requires an approved pressure limiting valve if the supply line pressure exceeds 500 kPa.

Maintenance requirements involve cartridge replacement every 6 to 12 months based on usage and building demand. The system provides a mechanism for reducing taste and odour contaminants from the mains supply to protect internal property fixtures. It features a low-maintenance design with no moving parts and operates silently on existing line pressure. The kit includes the housing and mounting hardware for immediate integration.
