Puretec X4 1 Micron Water Filter with DFU180 High-Loop Designer Faucet

Under-sink water filtration for mains, rain, and harsh water supplies is provided by the Puretec X4 system. This unit provides treated drinking water by reducing sediment and odours through an inline silver-impregnated filtration stage. It is specified for residential applications where a slimline design is required to fit within existing kitchen cabinetry. The system mounts either horizontally or vertically, providing installation flexibility without the need for modifications to cabinet shelving.

Manufactured with a compact inline housing, the unit utilizes IL150Q silver-impregnated media to prevent bacterial growth within the cartridge. The filtration stage features a nominal 1 micron rating to extract physical particles like rust and dirt while retaining essential minerals and fluoride. The 10-inch cartridge is designed for manual servicing and features quick-connect ports for integration with the plumbing lines. Tap installation is suitable for surfaces requiring a standard 12.5 mm diameter hole.

The system operates at a flow rate of up to 1.9 Lpm and is specified for a pressure range of 100 to 520 kPa. It is supplied with a DFU180 high-loop designer faucet which provides a dedicated outlet for filtered water at the kitchen sink. The operating temperature range is between 2 and 38 °C, and the system components must be protected from freezing. Connection to the water supply is achieved via a 1/4 inch quick-connect hose assembly and a Smart Tee fitting.

Protection for the installation is provided by an included multifunction control valve that regulates line pressure and protects against water hammer. The system features a tool-free maintenance design that simplifies the do-it-yourself cartridge replacement process. The kit includes all necessary plumbing fittings and a mounting bracket for standard undersink integration.
