Domestic mains water filtration for kitchen applications is supported by the Z1-Tripla-Elite-10 Series gunmetal system. This unit provides a complete solution for delivering filtered water without the need for additional tap holes or external benchtop filters. It is specified for undersink installation in residential environments where the reduction of chemical impurities and sediment is required. The filter assembly is designed to mount in various orientations to maximize available storage space under the kitchen bench.

Constructed from 100% stainless steel, the tap features a gunmetal finish and a high-loop spout for functional clearance. The system employs Ultra Z filtration technology rated at 0.1 microns to remove rust, sand, silt, and algae from the water stream. The replacement cartridge is a Z1-R model which utilizes a quick-twist mechanism for manual installation and removal. Benchtop preparation for the tap requires a 35 mm diameter hole for standard surface mounting.

The system is rated for a flow rate of 5 Lpm and operates with a maximum inlet pressure of 520 kPa. It incorporates independent tubes for hot, cold, and filtered water to ensure that no mixing occurs between the treated and untreated supplies. The Z1-R cartridge provides a total filtration capacity of 30,000 Litres before servicing is needed. Inlet connections are specified as 1/2 inch BSP with 1/4 inch quick-connect tubing for the filter loop.

Conservation performance is indicated by a 5 Stars WELS rating, with the tap requiring a minimum operating pressure of 50 kPa for functional use. The filter head includes a valve that shuts off the water supply automatically when the cartridge is removed, preventing mess during maintenance. The tap uses ceramic disc internals to provide stable operation across all temperature and filtration settings.
