Puretec Z1-E20-BN 0.1 Micron Water Filter with Brushed Nickel L-Shape Mixer Tap

Domestic water filtration for high-volume kitchen use is provided by the Z1-Tripla-Elite-20 Series brushed nickel system. This comprehensive package integrates ultra-fine filtration with an L-shape three-way mixer tap to deliver hot, cold, and filtered water through a single unit. It is suitable for mains water supplies where the reduction of chemical impurities and fine particles is required for drinking water. The filter component allows for flexible placement under the sink in either horizontal or vertical orientations.

Constructed from 100% stainless steel, the tap features a brushed nickel finish and a contemporary L-shape spout design. The system utilizes Ultra Z filtration media rated at 0.1 microns to address rust, sand, silt, and microbiological elements like E. coli. The replacement cartridge used is the Z1-R model, featuring a quick-twist design for tool-free manual servicing. Tap installation is specified for benchtop or sink surfaces requiring a 35 mm diameter hole.

The Z1 filter has a nominal flow rate of 5.5 Lpm, while the Tripla Elite-20 mixer tap has a 3 Stars WELS rating and 8 Lpm tap flow rate. It operates within a pressure range of 200 to 520 kPa. It incorporates independent tubes for hot, cold, and filtered water to ensure that the treated supply remains isolated from the main services. The Z1-R filtration cartridge has a total capacity of 30,000 Litres before a change is required. Connection to the domestic water supply is made via a 1/2 inch BSP fitting with 1/4 inch quick-connect tubing for the filter loop.

The mixer tap requires a minimum operating pressure of 50 kPa. The filter system features an automatic shut-off valve in the head assembly to simplify cartridge changes and prevent water spillage. The tap uses ceramic disc internals for stable flow control across all temperature and filtration settings.
