Puretec Z1-E20-MB 0.1 Micron Water Filter with Matt Black L-Shape Mixer Tap

Domestic water filtration for high-flow kitchen environments is facilitated by the Z1-Tripla-Elite-20 Series matt black system. This package combines a three-way mixer tap with ultra-fine filtration to provide treated drinking water alongside main hot and cold services. It is suitable for town water supplies where the reduction of chlorine taste and odour is necessary for household use. The filter housing is designed for compact undersink placement and can be oriented horizontally or vertically depending on installation space.

Manufactured from 100% stainless steel, the tap assembly features a matt black finish and an L-shape spout architecture. The filtration stage utilizes Ultra Z technology with a 0.1 micron rating to address sediment, rust, and microbiological organisms such as cysts. The system uses a Z1-R quick-twist replacement cartridge which allows for manual servicing without the need for specialized plumbing tools. Installation of the tap requires a 35 mm diameter hole in the benchtop or sink surface.

The Z1 filter has a nominal flow rate of 5.5 Lpm, while the Tripla Elite-20 mixer tap has a 3 Stars WELS rating and 8 Lpm tap flow rate. It is specified for a pressure range between 200 and 520 kPa. It features three internal waterways to ensure that filtered water remains separate from the unfiltered hot and cold supply throughout the tap body. The filtration cartridge has a capacity of 30,000 Litres for residential service duty. Plumbing connections are achieved through a 1/2 inch BSP inlet and 1/4 inch quick-connect tubing for the filter assembly.

The mixer tap is rated at 3 Stars WELS for water efficiency and requires a minimum working pressure of 50 kPa. Protection is provided by the quick-twist filter head which isolates the water supply automatically during the cartridge replacement process. The tap features ceramic disc technology to maintain consistent flow control and durability during standard operation.
