Puretec Z1-T2 0.1 Micron Water Filter with Chrome Curved-Spout 3-Way Mixer Tap

Under-sink water treatment for town and mains supplies is provided by the Puretec Z1-T2 system. This kit combines a high-performance three-way mixer tap with ultra-fine filtration to deliver hot, cold, and treated water from a single faucet. It is specified for residential environments where the reduction of chlorine, chemicals, and sediment is required for drinking water. The filter component is designed for flexible installation in the undersink cabinet in either horizontal or vertical orientations.

Manufactured from metal components, the T2 mixer tap features a bright chrome finish and a curved spout design with an integrated handle. The system utilizes Ultra Z filtration media rated at 0.1 microns to remove rust, silt, algae, and bacteria from the domestic water stream. The replacement cartridge used is the Z1-R model, which features a quick-twist mechanism for straightforward manual replacement. Tap installation is specified for surfaces requiring a standard 33 mm diameter hole.

The Z1 filter has a nominal flow rate of 5.5 Lpm, while the Tripla T2 mixer tap has a 4 Stars WELS rating and 7.5 Lpm tap flow rate. It operates within a pressure range of 200 to 500 kPa. It incorporates independent tubes for filtered and mains water to ensure that the treated supply remains isolated from the main hot and cold services. The Z1-R filtration cartridge has a total capacity of 30,000 Litres before a change is required. Connection to the domestic water supply is made via a 1/2 inch BSP fitting with 1/4 inch quick-connect tubing for the filter loop.

The filter system features an automatic shut-off valve in the head assembly to simplify cartridge changes and prevent leaks in the cabinet. The tap features ceramic disc technology for stable flow control across all filtration and temperature settings.
