Puretec Z1-T5 0.1 Micron Water Filter with Chrome L-Shape Square 3-Way Mixer Tap

Domestic water filtration for modern kitchen installations is facilitated by the Puretec Z1-T5 system. This kit provides a comprehensive solution for delivering hot, cold, and ultra-fine filtered water through a single architectural mixer tap. It is suitable for residential town water supplies where the reduction of chemical impurities and fine particles is necessary. The filter housing is designed for compact undersink placement and can be oriented horizontally or vertically to accommodate cabinet space.

Constructed with metal tapware, the T5 mixer features a bright chrome finish and an L-shape square spout design. The filtration stage utilizes Ultra Z technology with a 0.1 micron rating to remove sediment, rust, and microbiological organisms such as parasitic cysts. The system uses a Z1-R quick-twist replacement cartridge which allows for manual servicing without the need for specialized tools. Installation of the tap requires a 33 mm diameter hole in the benchtop or sink surface.

The Z1 filter has a nominal flow rate of 5.5 Lpm, while the Tripla T5 mixer tap has a 5 Stars WELS rating and 5 Lpm tap flow rate. The system is specified for a pressure range between 200 and 500 kPa. It features three separate internal paths to ensure that treated drinking water remains isolated from the main hot and cold supplies. The filtration cartridge has a rated capacity of 30,000 Litres for residential service duty. Connection to the water supply is achieved through a 1/2 inch BSP inlet and 1/4 inch quick-connect tubing for the filter loop.

Protection is provided by the valve-in-head filter design which isolates the water supply automatically when the cartridge is removed. The mixer tap features ceramic disc technology to maintain consistent flow control during standard domestic use.
