Puretec Z18 0.1 Micron Inline Undersink Water Filter with DFU180 High-Loop Ceramic Faucet

Compact inline water filtration for domestic drinking water applications is provided by the Puretec Z18 system. This unit provides treated water by reducing chlorine, organic chemicals, and fine sediment through an advanced filtration process. It is specified for residential use under kitchen benches, and can also be integrated with ice machines, refrigerators, and coffee makers. The system mounts either horizontally or vertically, allowing for installation without the need for cabinet shelf cutouts.

Constructed with a slimline filter housing, the system utilizes premium grade carbon filtration with a 0.1 micron rating. The media is designed to reduce rust, dirt, and 99.9% of microbiological cysts such as Cryptosporidium. The Z1-R quick-twist cartridge features a valve-in-head design that shuts off the water automatically during replacement, enabling tool-free maintenance. Benchtop installation requires a 12.5 mm diameter hole for the dedicated premium ceramic high-loop faucet.

This system operates with a flow rate between 0 and 5 Lpm and is specified for a pressure range of 172 to 520 kPa. It features a total filtration capacity of 23,000 Litres before the cartridge needs to be serviced. The operating temperature range is from 0 to 38 °C, and the unit must be protected from freezing conditions. Connection to the mains supply is made via a 1/2 inch BSP fitting for integration with standard residential cold water lines.

Protection is provided by an included multifunction control valve that regulates pressure and prevents water hammer while providing dual check reliability. The system is supplied with a DFU180 high-loop designer faucet for filtered water delivery at the point of use. All required plumbing fittings for standard installation are included in the kit to facilitate straightforward setup.
