The Reltech Platinum PLT100 is a premium Australian-made single-speed swimming pool pump designed for residential and commercial pool and spa filtration systems. Part of the Reltech Platinum Series, the pump is engineered for high water flow, strong pressure and quiet operation, making it suitable for modern pools with additional equipment such as heaters, chlorinators or in-floor cleaning systems.
Powered by a 1.0 HP single-phase motor, the PLT100 provides powerful circulation performance, delivering approximately 330 litres per minute at 8 m head. This output allows efficient water turnover and filtration in pools up to around 55,000 litres.
The pump is constructed from engineering-grade thermoplastic reinforced with glass and UV additives, providing excellent resistance to corrosion and outdoor weather conditions. A balanced impeller and diffuser design ensures quiet operation and efficient hydraulic performance, while the extra-large leaf strainer basket reduces maintenance by allowing longer intervals between cleaning.
Designed for ease of installation, the pump includes self-aligning barrel unions compatible with 50 mm or 65 mm PVC pipe connections. A totally enclosed fan-cooled motor with built-in thermal overload protection helps safeguard the motor during continuous operation.
