The Reltech Platinum PLT150 is a premium single-speed swimming pool pump designed for residential and commercial pool filtration systems requiring high circulation performance. Part of the Reltech Platinum Series, this Australian-made pump is engineered with durable corrosion-resistant materials and a balanced hydraulic design to provide powerful water flow, quiet operation and long service life in outdoor pool environments.
Powered by a 1.5 HP single-phase motor, the PLT150 delivers strong hydraulic performance with approximately 420 litres per minute at 8 m head, making it suitable for pools up to around 75,000 litres. This high flow capacity allows efficient filtration and rapid water turnover in medium to large residential pools or spa systems.
The pump is constructed from engineering-grade thermoplastic reinforced with glass and UV additives, providing excellent resistance to corrosion, weather exposure and pool chemicals. A stainless steel shaft, carbon-ceramic mechanical seal and balanced impeller help ensure quiet operation and reliable performance during continuous duty operation.
For easy installation and maintenance, the PLT150 includes self-aligning barrel unions compatible with 50 mm or 65 mm PVC plumbing and an extra-large leaf strainer basket with a clear inspection lid for quick debris removal and routine cleaning. Built-in thermal overload protection safeguards the motor during extended operation.
