The Reltech Platinum PLT300 is a high-capacity single-speed pool pump designed for large residential and commercial swimming pool and spa filtration systems. Part of the Reltech Platinum Series, this Australian-made pump is engineered for powerful water circulation, high pressure performance and quiet operation in demanding pool environments.
Powered by a 3.0 HP single-phase motor, the PLT300 provides extremely high flow performance suitable for large pools, commercial installations, swim spas and systems with water features or in-floor cleaning systems. Performance data shows the pump can deliver around 575 litres per minute at approximately 9 metres head, ensuring rapid water turnover and efficient filtration for very large pool systems.
The pump is constructed using engineering-grade thermoplastic reinforced with glass fibres and UV additives, providing excellent resistance to corrosion, weather exposure and harsh pool chemicals. A high-efficiency impeller and diffuser design maximises hydraulic efficiency while maintaining reduced noise levels during operation.
For convenient installation and maintenance, the PLT300 includes an extra-large heavy-duty leaf strainer basket with a clear inspection lid, allowing debris to be captured before reaching the impeller. Self-aligning barrel unions allow connection to 50 mm or 65 mm PVC plumbing, enabling easy integration with residential and commercial pool filtration systems.
