The Reltech PR50 is an entry-level single-speed swimming pool pump designed for residential pool filtration and circulation systems. Part of Reltech’s Premium PR Series, the pump is engineered in Australia using durable corrosion-resistant materials to withstand harsh outdoor environments and chemically treated pool water while providing dependable everyday performance.
Powered by a 0.5 HP single-phase motor, the PR50 delivers strong circulation for small to medium domestic swimming pools. At typical operating conditions, it can provide around 160 litres per minute at 8 m head, helping maintain efficient filtration and water turnover.
The pump features a heavy-duty thermoplastic pump body reinforced for durability and UV resistance, combined with a stainless-steel shaft and ceramic mechanical seal for long service life. A balanced impeller and diffuser system provides smooth, quiet operation while maintaining strong water flow and reliable priming.
Designed with user convenience in mind, the PR50 includes a large leaf basket with a clear inspection lid for easy debris removal and maintenance. Self-aligning barrel unions allow simple installation and compatibility with both 40 mm and 50 mm pool plumbing.
