Sta-Rite Posi-Clear RP 150 Cartridge Filter for High Flow Pool Systems with Continuous High Flow™ Air Relief

Higher residential turnover requirements can place additional demand on cartridge filtration systems, particularly during extended daily filtration schedules. With an effective filtration area of 150 ft² (13.9 m²), the Sta-Rite Posi-Clear RP 150 is configured to manage increased debris loading while supporting stable water clarity across larger residential pools.

Maximum hydraulic flow reaches 570 L/Min, while turnover capacity extends to 273,000 litres over 8 hours, 342,000 litres over 10 hours, and 410,000 litres over 12 hours. The raised offset inlet arrangement introduces water into the tank using Cyclone Action Technology, generating internal rotational flow that helps distribute debris more evenly before it contacts the cartridge element.

Servicing access remains straightforward through the coreless cartridge design, allowing hose cleaning and cartridge removal without unnecessary handling complexity. Internal air accumulation is controlled through the Continuous High Flow™ air relief system, supported by a manual 1/4 turn air release valve fitted with a hose barb connection. A built-in pressure gauge provides visual indication of cartridge loading and filtration condition during operation.

The tank assembly is manufactured from fibreglass reinforced polypropylene developed for resistance against UV exposure and chemically treated pool water. Structural rigidity is assisted through the single-piece base and tank construction, while supplied 50 mm / 2" unions and quick-connect Diamond Seal fittings simplify installation and future maintenance access. Climate Care certification and 10-year limited warranty coverage are also included.
