Continuous sewage handling in municipal infrastructure demands high-power, large-bore pumps for raw wastewater. The pump is utilized in deep drainage basins, municipal sewage treatment plants, and industrial lift stations. It transfers raw municipal sewage, thick factory slurry, and heavy effluents containing suspended solids.
The unit features an 11 kW, 4-pole Three-phase induction motor designed for a 415 V supply. Operating under high loads, the motor starts via a star-delta method. The hydraulic performance delivers a maximum head of Approximately 18 m and a maximum flow of Approximately 2590 L/Min, providing high discharge rates.
A recessed vortex impeller made of dynamically balanced cast iron is paired with a widely opened volute casing. It provides a 100mm solids passage, allowing solid matters equivalent to the discharge bore to pass through the pump casing with minimal impeller contact. This centrifugal flow prevents clogs and reduces abrasive wear.
The mechanical construction comprises a cast iron volute casing and a high-tensile stainless steel shaft. A dual-face mechanical seal in an oil chamber contains silicon carbide faces. Winding safety is managed by miniature thermal protectors embedded in each winding of the motor. The pump operates up to 40°C and supports TOS guide rails.
