Lifting stations handling raw municipal sewage require large-bore pumps with maximum solids-handling capability. This 100mm discharge vortex pump is utilized in municipal lift stations, commercial collection pits, and industrial wastewater plants. It processes unscreened sewage, agricultural runoff, and stormwater containing large solids.
Operating on a Three-phase, 415 V supply, the pump features a 3.7 kW, 4-pole induction motor. Drawing standard currents, the motor runs at 1500 rpm. The hydraulic layout delivers a maximum head of Approximately 10 m and a maximum flow of Approximately 1890 L/Min, providing reliable water clearance.
A dynamically balanced cast iron vortex impeller is recessed in the widely opened pump casing interior. The hydraulic design provides a 100mm solids passage, allowing solid matters equivalent to the discharge bore to pass with minimal impeller contact. This centrifugal vortex action prevents clogs and protects against wear.
The construction features a robust cast iron casing and a high-tensile stainless steel shaft. Sealing is managed by a dual mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces in an oil chamber. Overheating protection is managed by a circle thermal protector built into the motor housing. It handles liquids up to 40°C and fits TOS guide rails.
