Managing stormwater runoff and heavy effluents in municipal projects requires high-capacity, large-bore pumps. This high-output vortex pump is installed in municipal lifting stations, equalization basins, and factory drainage networks. It processes raw sewage, agricultural wastes, and stormwater carrying solid particles and grit.

Powered by a 7.5 kW Three-phase induction motor, the unit runs on a 415 V electrical supply. Operating at standard loads, the 4-pole motor runs at 1500 rpm. The hydraulic performance reaches a maximum head of Approximately 16 m and a maximum flow rate of Approximately 2520 L/Min, ensuring rapid dewatering.

Rotation of the cast iron vortex impeller recessed in the casing generates a rapid centrifugal flow. The pump features a 100mm solids passage, allowing large solid matters to pass through the casing without direct impeller contact. This practically unchokable design protects the pump from clogging and mechanical clogs.

Constructed with a heavy-duty cast iron casing and a high-tensile stainless steel shaft, the unit is highly rigid. The double-face mechanical seal resides in an oil chamber with silicon carbide seal faces. Overheating protection is managed by miniature thermal protectors embedded in each motor winding. It handles liquids up to 40°C and supports TOS guide rails.

    FEATURES

    • Integrated protector directly cuts the circuit during thermal overload.
    • Resides in oil chamber with silicon carbide faces to resist abrasive wear.
    • Molded rubber barrier prevents capillary water ingress from damaged cables.
    • Forcibly supplies turbine oil to the shaft seal, preventing dry-running damage.
    • Stainless steel shaft transmits full-load motor torque with high rigidity.
    • Cast iron design produces a whirlpool flow to pass large solids without clogs, reducing maintenance requirements.
