Developed for municipal flood control, large-scale storm water drainage, and wastewater handling, this submersible pump operates in fully submerged sump installations. It handles raw sewage, wastewater, and water carrying large solid matters. The unit serves municipal councils, industrial utilities, and water treatment plants.
The motor is rated at 15 kilowatts on a three-phase power supply at 415 volts and 50Hz. Star-Delta is the starting method, drawing a rated current of 32 amperes. Performance parameters include a maximum head of 11 metres and a maximum flow rate of approx. 15000 L/Min for wastewater transfer. providing high-volume water displacement.
Liquid handling is performed by a shrouded two-channel impeller, which reduces clogs from suspended solids and fibrous matter. The solids passage clearance is 140 by 90 millimetres for 50Hz. This design assists in moving wastewater containing large solids through the system.
The robust construction includes a gray cast iron casing and suction cover, with a 420 stainless steel shaft . Inside the oil chamber, 6000 millilitres of turbine oil lubricates the dual silicon carbide inside mechanical seals. Miniature thermal protectors are embedded in the motor windings to cut power during overheating.
