The Tsurumi 40PUA2.25S is a compact stainless steel submersible wastewater pump designed for pumping sewage, effluent and contaminated liquids containing suspended solids. Equipped with a vortex impeller, the pump allows solids and fibrous materials to pass through with minimal contact, reducing clogging risk and ensuring reliable operation in drainage applications.
Powered by a 0.25kW single phase motor, this automatic model features an integrated float switch for hands-free operation, starting and stopping the pump according to water levels. The corrosion-resistant construction combines stainless steel components with reinforced resin parts, providing durability in aggressive wastewater environments and long service life in continuous duty operation.
Designed for submersible installation, the pump incorporates a dual mechanical seal in an oil chamber for enhanced protection against water ingress and extended reliability. With a 40 mm discharge outlet and the ability to handle solids up to approximately 35 mm, it is well suited for septic systems, sump pits, grey water drainage and small wastewater transfer installations.
