Pumping seawater and corrosive liquids requires a technical solution that resists rapid oxidation and chemical attack. This corrosion-resistant submersible pump is engineered specifically for seawater pumping and the management of corrosive site water. Its combination of 304/316 stainless steel and specialized resins ensures long-term structural integrity in environments where standard materials would fail.

Powered by a 0.25 kW / 415v three-phase induction motor, the system manages a maximum flow capacity of approximately 200 L/Min and achieves a peak head of approximately 7 m. The unit is designed for continuous duty and utilizes a Direct on Line (D.O.L.) starting method to maintain stable hydraulic pressure. Its flow-thru design utilizes the pumped media to dissipate motor heat during continuous operation.

The recessed vortex impeller allows solids up to 6 mm to pass while reducing direct contact between suspended particles and the impeller. The top discharge configuration ensures the motor remains cooled by the liquid during continuous operation. The compact body enables installation in confined spaces, including locations with pipe diameters as small as 8 inches.

The sealing system incorporates dual silicon carbide mechanical seals operating in an oil chamber with Tsurumi's Oil Lifter. A thermal protector and anti-wicking cable entry safeguard the motor, while non-toxic liquid paraffin allows use where liquid contamination is undesirable.

    FEATURES

    • Manufactured from 304/316 stainless steel to ensure maximum corrosion resistance in seawater and aggressive chemical sumps.
    • Vortex impeller design facilitates the passage of solids up to 6 mm without clogging.
    • Top discharge, flow-thru design ensures the motor is constantly cooled by the liquid, permitting operation in shallow water.
    • Tsurumi's patented Oil Lifter forcibly supplies lubricating oil to the seal faces even if the lubricant volume falls below rated levels.
    • Dual mechanical seals with silicon carbide (SiC) faces provide high-grade protection against abrasion.
    • Non-toxic liquid paraffin is used as the motor lubricant, making the pump safe for aquaculture and sensitive food applications.
    • Anti-wicking cable entry block uses molded rubber to prevent moisture from entering the motor through capillary action.
    • Slim-line body construction allows for installation in narrow locations, including pipes as small as 8 inches in diameter.
