The Tsurumi 50B2.4 submersible pump is a Cast Iron unit for handling sewage and liquids carrying solid matters. The unit is compatible with free standing discharge bends and duckfoot bend guide rail fitting systems, enabling routine installation and retrieval. It is rated for continuous duty in liquids from 0 to 40°C.
A 0.4 kW dry-type induction motor runs on a three-phase 415 V electrical supply to power the unit. With a rated current of 1 Amps, this pump achieves a maximum head of 9 m and a maximum flow rate of 263 L/Min.
The hydraulic design incorporates a Semi-open single-channel impeller with a solids passage size of 35 x 22 mm to prevent clogging. Suction and discharge openings are both sized at 50 mm to accommodate fluid flow without internal restrictions.
Constructed with a gray cast iron casing and impeller, the pump incorporates a 420 stainless steel shaft. A double inside mechanical seal in an oil chamber utilizes Ceramic-to-Carbon upper and Silicon Carbide-to-Silicon Carbide lower seal faces. Tsurumi's original Oil Lifter supplies lubricating oil to the seal faces, while a watertight cable entry with an anti-wicking block protects the motor. Motor safety is maintained by a built-in Circle Thermal Protector.
