Transferring raw sewage and liquids with high solids content requires a pump capable of high-head duties while maintaining clog-free operation. This manual submersible vortex pump is engineered for sewage pumping and wastewater transfer in demanding commercial environments. Its corrosion-resistant frame ensures long-term service in aggressive wastewater without introducing toxic contaminants into the liquid stream.

Powered by a 0.75 kW / 415v three-phase motor, the pumping system achieves a maximum head of approximately 12.5 m and provides a flow capacity of approximately 360 L/Min. This induction motor is rated for continuous duty and utilizes a Direct on Line (D.O.L.) starting method to maintain consistent discharge pressure. The 50 mm discharge bore facilitates high-volume transfer for drainage and liquid transfer duties.

The hydraulic configuration utilizes a recessed vortex impeller to create a centrifugal whirlpool effect, allowing solids up to 35 mm to bypass the vanes. This design maintains stable hydraulic performance when handling liquids with high concentrations of suspended matter. By minimizing contact between debris and the impeller, the vortex arrangement significantly reduces mechanical stress during intensive discharge cycles.

Construction features 304 stainless steel and engineering resin for principal wetted parts, complemented by non-toxic liquid paraffin lubrication. Mechanical integrity is supported by a double-face mechanical seal located in an oil chamber with an Oil Lifter. Protection is enhanced by a circle thermal protector and an anti-wicking cable entry block to prevent moisture from reaching the motor windings.

    FEATURES

    • 304 stainless steel and resin construction provide maximum resistance to rust and corrosion in sewage environments.
    • Vortex impeller configuration enables efficient 35 mm solids handling while reducing hydraulic and mechanical friction.
    • High-head performance reaching 12.5 m allows for effective liquid transfer in deep sumps and drainage systems.
    • Liquid paraffin is used as the lubricant, ensuring the unit is suitable for sensitive liquid transfer applications.
    • Patented Oil Lifter technology supplies lubricating oil to the mechanical seal even if the oil level falls to low volumes.
    • Double-face mechanical seal operating in an oil chamber provides high-grade protection against abrasion and wear.
    • Circle thermal protector built into the motor housing proactively interrupts the circuit during thermal or electrical overload.
    • Anti-wicking cable entry block uses a molded rubber seal to prevent water from entering the motor through capillary action.
