Automating wastewater management in sumps requires a pump capable of high-head duties and unattended operation. This automatic submersible vortex pump is engineered for managing raw sewage and solids-bearing liquids, featuring automatic level control for hands-free site water management. Its corrosion-resistant frame and 304 stainless steel construction ensure long-term service in aggressive wastewater applications.

Powered by a 0.75 kW / 415v three-phase motor, the pumping system achieves a maximum head of approximately 12.5 m and provides a flow capacity of approximately 360 L/Min. The automatic functionality provides start and stop based on liquid level. This induction motor is continuous-duty rated through a 50 mm discharge bore for stable high-volume transfer.

The hydraulic configuration utilizes a recessed vortex impeller to create a centrifugal whirlpool effect, allowing solids up to 35 mm to bypass the vanes. This design maintains stable hydraulic performance when handling liquids with high concentrations of suspended matter. By minimizing contact between debris and the impeller, the vortex arrangement significantly reduces mechanical stress during intensive automated discharge cycles.

Mechanical integrity is supported by a 304 stainless steel shaft and frame, with a double-face mechanical seal located in an oil chamber featuring an Oil Lifter. Protection is enhanced by a circle thermal protector and an anti-wicking cable entry block that protects the motor from moisture. The unit utilizes non-toxic liquid paraffin as a lubricant, making the pump suitable for sensitive liquid transfer applications.
