Tsurumi 50SQ2-2.75 Portable Submersible Corrosion-Resistant Pump for Breeding Ponds with Vortex Impeller

Freshwater supply for breeding ponds and aquarium circulation requires a pump that prioritizes liquid purity and long-term structural durability. This 304/316 stainless steel submersible pump is designed for these sensitive applications, ensuring that no toxic contaminants are introduced into the water. The corrosion-resistant metallurgy resists degradation caused by continuous immersion in aquatic environments while maintaining clean, rust-free operation.

Powered by a 0.75 kW / 415v three-phase motor, the pumping system achieves a maximum head of approximately 14.5 m and provides a flow capacity of approximately 300 L/Min. This induction motor is continuous-duty rated through a 50 mm discharge bore. The flow-thru design permits the pump to operate at low water levels for extended periods by utilizing the pumped media to dissipate internal motor heat.

The recessed vortex impeller passes solids up to 6 mm while allowing suspended matter to move freely through the pump casing. The compact design enables installation where space is limited. The vortex configuration reduces direct contact between debris and the impeller, helping minimise mechanical wear during operation.

Mechanical integrity is supported by 304/316 stainless steel wetted parts, with dual inside mechanical seals isolated in an oil chamber featuring an Oil Lifter. Protection is enhanced by an anti-wicking cable entry block and a circle thermal protector built into the motor housing. The unit utilizes non-toxic liquid paraffin as a lubricant, ensuring the pump is entirely safe for aquaculture and applications where liquid contamination is not desired.
