In lift station applications, handling raw sewage and wastewater from domestic areas requires compact single-phase pumps. The pump operates in residential sumps, commercial cellars, and small municipal lifting stations. It transfers effluent, drainage water, and domestic wastewater containing soft solids and grit without blockages.
Electrical operation uses a 240 V, Single-phase power supply with a motor power output of 0.4 kW. This capacitor-run motor has a rated current of 2.9 Amps under standard operating loads. The pump has a maximum head of 9 m and a maximum flow of 270 L/Min, delivering constant hydraulic output for light-duty domestic drainage systems.
A semi-vortex impeller made of glass-fiber reinforced PPO is recessed in the cast iron pump casing. This design establishes a 35mm solids passage, allowing suspended solid matters and fibrous materials to pass without clogging. Centrifugal vortex action keeps solids moving through the volute without wrapping around the impeller.
Constructed with a heavy cast iron pump casing and a 403 stainless steel shaft, the unit is built for durability. Sealing is managed by a double mechanical seal with silicon carbide and ceramic faces in an oil chamber. Motor safety is managed by an embedded miniature thermal protector that shuts down the motor if it overheats.
