Wastewater transfer between holding tanks requires continuous-duty pumps capable of handling suspended solid matter. This single-phase pump is utilized in domestic sewers, commercial basement sumps, and small agricultural drainage installations. It drains water carrying organic waste, fibrous sludge, and suspended sand.
The electrical motor is a 0.75 kW, Single-phase induction model designed for a standard 240 V supply. Drawing a rated current of 4.5 Amps, it starts via a capacitor-run method. The hydraulic output reaches a maximum head of 12.5 m and a maximum flow rate of 439.8 L/Min, ensuring rapid dewatering and efficient liquid transfer.
A glass-fiber reinforced PPO semi-vortex impeller generates a whirlpool flow inside the pump casing. With a 35mm solids passage, the hydraulic design allows the pump to discharge grit and soft solids without direct impeller contact. This minimises impeller wear and prevents long fibers from wrapping around the motor shaft.
The structure consists of a cast iron pump body, a 403 stainless steel shaft, and permanently lubricated bearings. The double-face mechanical seal runs in an oil chamber with a silicon carbide lower face. Overload protection is provided by an integrated circle thermal protector that cuts the motor circuit. The unit operates in liquids up to 40°C and is compatible with TOK guide rails.
