    Pairs well with

As a cast iron submersible sewage pump, the Tsurumi 80B418.5 manages the transfer of water treatment in wet wells. The unit is compatible with free standing discharge bends and duckfoot bend guide rail fitting systems, enabling routine installation and retrieval. It is rated for continuous duty in liquids from 0 to 40°C.

The electrical motor is rated at 18.5 kW, drawing 37 Amps on a three-phase 415 V supply. Under these parameters, the pump maintains a maximum discharge capacity of approximately 2310 L/Min and a maximum total head of approximately 49 m.

At the hydraulic end, a Semi-open two-channel impeller offers a solids passage diameter of 46 mm. The physical ports consist of an open suction intake and a 80 mm discharge bore.

This model uses gray cast iron for the casing and impeller, along with a 420 stainless steel shaft. A double mechanical seal operating in an oil chamber is configured with Silicon Carbide-to-Silicon Carbide upper and lower seal faces. Lubrication is supplied by an Oil Lifter, while the anti-wicking block prevents water ingress through the cable entry. Motor winding protection is handled by a built-in Miniature Thermal Protectors.

    FEATURES

    • Gray cast iron construction offers robust casing and impeller casing wear resistance for long-term submergence.
    • Semi-open two-channel impeller with dynamically balanced design for solid-handling configuration.
    • Double inside mechanical seals in oil chamber featuring Silicon Carbide-to-Silicon Carbide upper and lower.
    • Patented Oil Lifter technology supplies lubrication to the mechanical seal faces even if the oil level drops.
    • Watertight PVC cable entry with integrated anti-wicking block protects the motor from capillary water ingress.
    • Built-in Miniature Thermal Protectors directly cuts the motor circuit or alerts control systems in overheating conditions.
    • Permanently lubricated, deep-groove, double-shielded C3 ball bearings support continuous-duty operation.
    • Integrated 304 stainless steel leakage sensor electrode alerts operators of water incursion in the oil chamber.
