Managing wastewater and large-scale drainage requires a high-capacity pump capable of handling significant solids concentrations. This manual submersible vortex pump is engineered for sewage transfer and the drainage of liquids carrying solid matter in commercial facilities. Its large 80 mm discharge and corrosion-resistant construction provide a robust technical solution for environments where reliability is a priority.

Operating with a 1.5 kW / 415v three-phase motor, the unit achieves a peak flow of approximately 780 L/Min and reaches a maximum head of approximately 15.2 m. The 2-pole dry-type induction motor is rated for continuous duty and utilizes a Direct on Line starting method. This configuration ensures stable hydraulic pressure and high-volume transfer for demanding site water management and wastewater systems.

The hydraulic assembly features a high-flow vortex impeller that facilitates the passage of large solids up to 46 mm. This design creates a powerful whirlpool that moves debris through the pump casing with minimal impeller contact, preventing clogging and reducing mechanical wear caused by abrasive particles. The practically unchokable arrangement is essential for handling solids-laden wastewater in industrial sumps.

Structural integrity is provided by a resin and 304 stainless steel body, with a 304 stainless steel shaft for enhanced chemical compatibility. Sealing is ensured by a double-face mechanical seal located in an oil chamber with lower silicon carbide seal faces and a proprietary Oil Lifter. Protection is reinforced by an anti-wicking cable entry and a circle thermal protector that safeguards the motor from thermal and overcurrent conditions.

    FEATURES

    • Resin and 304 stainless steel construction ensures superior durability and corrosion resistance in wastewater applications.
    • Large-passage vortex impeller allows for 46 mm solids handling, making the unit practically unchokable in sewage duty.
    • High-volume 80 mm discharge bore achieves flow rates up to 780 L/Min for intensive dewatering tasks.
    • Double-face mechanical seal located in an oil chamber with lower silicon carbide seal faces provides protection against abrasion and liquid ingress.
    • Tsurumi's patented Oil Lifter supplies lubricating oil to the seal faces even if the lubricant volume falls to low levels.
    • Circle thermal protector built into the motor housing directly cuts the circuit during excessive heat buildup or overcurrent.
    • Integrated anti-wicking cable entry block prevents moisture from wicking into the motor housing through the cable strands.
    • Optional guide rail fitting system allows for easy maintenance and inspection without the need to enter the sump.
