This heavy-duty cast iron submersible pump is designed for high-capacity dewatering; municipal wastewater plants; and underground rainwater pumping. Engineered with an 80mm discharge connection; it efficiently moves high-head flows containing small solid matters. Typical applications include treated water deforming; rainwater sumps; and deep dewatering operations.
The dry induction motor runs on a 415 V three-phase power source; delivering 11 kW of output while drawing a rated current of 22.8 Amps. Based on the manufacturer's official 50Hz performance curves; the pump achieves a maximum total head of approximately 45 m and a maximum flow rate of approximately 1878 L/Min. This model utilizes star-delta starting for soft starting.
The pump features a dynamically balanced semi-open cast iron impeller allowing free passage of solids up to 22mm. The shaft is sealed by a double-face mechanical seal in an oil chamber with ceramic-to-carbon upper faces and silicon carbide-to-silicon carbide lower faces. A seal pressure relief system vents excessive static pressure away from the seal faces.
Motor winding safety is provided by miniature thermal protectors embedded in each winding phase that shut down the power supply via a control panel. Power is supplied via heavy-duty chloroprene rubber cabtyre cables featuring an anti-wicking block at the entry. Sump maintenance and regular inspection are simplified by using the optional guide rail set TOS80SF211.
