This professional cast iron submersible drainage pump is developed for heavy-duty industrial and municipal wastewater plants. It features a wide discharge bore and a high-flow hydraulic casing designed to transport rainwater and light sewage from deep collection sumps. The pump is suited for wastewater measuring tanks; municipal drainage; and rainwater collection systems.

The motor is a 5.5 kW three-phase 415 V dry-type induction motor drawing a rated current of 11.4 Amps. Traced from the official 50Hz manufacturer performance curves; this pump delivers a maximum head of approximately 33 m and a maximum capacity of approximately 1338 L/Min. The starting method is direct on line; with star-delta starting available on request.

Its mechanical build features a cast iron semi-open multi-vane impeller that allows free passage of solids up to 15mm in diameter. Sealing is managed by dual-face mechanical seals inside an oil chamber with ceramic-to-carbon upper faces and silicon carbide-to-silicon carbide lower faces. A seal pressure relief port protects the mechanical seal from high pressure.

Windings are protected by a circle thermal protector inside the watertight housing that shuts the circuit when overcurrent or excess heat is detected. The power cable is an 8-meter chloroprene rubber cabtyre cable with Tsurumi's anti-wicking block. Sump installation and maintenance are made efficient using the optional guide rail set TOS80SF25.5.

    FEATURES

    • Seal pressure relief system that protects mechanical seals from excessive static head at high depths.
    • Cast iron semi-open impeller allowing solids passage up to 15mm in diameter without clogging risk.
    • Centered oil lifter that forcibly circulates lubricating oil to mechanical seal faces during run-dry cycles.
    • Deep-groove; double-shielded C3 ball bearings designed for severe radial and axial load distribution.
    • Waterproof chloroprene rubber cable entry with vulcanized anti-wicking potting inside the entry port.
    • Continuous-duty dry induction motor with Class F insulation and IP68 protection for absolute submergence.
    • Standard threaded JIS 10kg/cm2 flange connection with an 80 mm outlet bore for high-volume piping lines.
